Craft Lake City is this Saturday from 2pm-9pm on Gallivan Avenue (behind the Wells Fargo Building).

There are 130 vendors this year, and it will be great! Be sure to make plans to come down and stop by the booth to get a jump start on your Christmas shopping. We will have a bunch of our new designs available.

I know I haven't posted much. I've been busy with business and getting some summer fun in before it's over. I was checking my Etsy shop today and noticed that there are now 800 people who heart the store. That's fabulous! In celebration I am going to do a giveaway.

Whiteboards!!

Okay, so I know... It's been longer than a week since I posted my last post. Life got a little busy and I couldn't get my new items posted. But, I found some time and there are now Whiteboard vinyl decals listed in the Etsy shop.

This whiteboard vinyl is fabulous! I know not everyone is a chalkboard fan because of the dust that chalk makes, but who doesn't love a marker? As I mentioned before only dry erase markers can be used on this vinyl. Clean up is super easy! I was able to just wipe the marker off the vinyl with my finger.

Go check out the shop - and pick up a whiteboard for yourself! Although I may not have all of the sizes posted right now, they all are available. Custom sizes are available too!

Whiteboard Designs

I have a new product and will be listing the new items in my Etsy shop during the next week. What I have found is a whiteboard vinyl that I can cut my current chalkboard designs on. Although I love the chalkboard material I know that chalk is not ideal for some people, so I set out on a search to find vinyl that's intended purchase was to be a whiteboard. I finally found it, got it in stock and have tested it. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Please be aware that this vinyl is actually created to be a whiteboard. I didn't just take normal white vinyl and try to pass it off as being a "whiteboard". There is a big difference between these two products. Specifically, the whiteboard vinyl allows you to wipe off your writing where the white vinyl you cannot do this and the writing becomes permanent on the vinyl.

With this product you need to be sure that you are using whiteboard specific markers and not permanent ones.

Chalkboard Vinyl

I have recently noticed that several other individuals have begun to sell vinyl chalkboards, similiar to ours. I am, however, somewhat biased and think that out chalkboards are the best!

Jon and I have personally devoted numerous hours to creating the designs that we use for the chalkboards. We also take input from all of you as to what you would like to see, and then use that to create new styles. Additionally, I have personally reviewed several different vinyl products before picking what we currently use. I feel it is the best vinyl on the market. The vinyl we use is professional signmaker quality vinyl. Our chalkboards are black. Other types of chalkboard vinyl I have reviewed were not black, but rather grey with a silver sheen to it.

I am firm believer in quality products. I want to make sure that I am only providing the best. I hope that this has highlighted our commitment to providing a wonderful product.

Mother's Day & Spring project

Mother's Day is a little less than two weeks away and in an effort to encourage spring along I have the following project available. These are cute little vinyl sayings that can be added to your flower pots for some extra personalization.

Here are some more examples of different pots I have used and with plants in those above. If you are interested please contact me and we can create your personal pot saying, or I can sell you one of the pre-made projects if you are short on time.

What better way to establish my new blog for Spell It Out, than to offer a special on Family Establishment boards.
For $15.00 you can get a totally finished board. The finished board will be painted in your choice of color, with vinyl also in your choice. I can change the font if you desire or leave it as in the example above. Rather than try and take a picture of each color of paint and vinyl I have, if you can contact me with your color ideas I can send you what I have in stock.

The board in the example is 23"x6" and has a routed edge.
