Boutiques

Boutique season is coming up and fast. I am trying to gauge the interest level of our chalkboards, and decide if I should take this show on the road. I will start with local boutiques and shows if there is local interest in this.

So.. I guess I am asking who would come out to a boutique or show to buy a Spell It Out chalkboard?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I am not really sure if this is the case. Today I became aware of an individual who is using my images/designs and is trying to pass them off as their own. I love my stuff, and hope that all of you do as well. However, a lot of work has gone into creating these designs and making this business.

I *really* appreciate all of the blog posts and comments that I have received about the chalkboards. All of you are great!

Please feel free to use any of my images in posts that you might do about our chalkboards. All I ask, is that credit is given where credit is due and reference that they came from Spell It Out.

Chalkboard Giveaway

I've decided to do another chalkboard giveaway. Maybe because it's snowing outside, it was daylight savings this weekend and I am not quite adjusted or because I am just feeling generous. Either way - here's your chance to win a free vinyl chalkboard!

This giveaway is for one retro television chalkboard. This chalkboard is from our kids line, but I think it is awesome for anyone who loves the retro styling.


The contest is running from NOW until Sunday, March 15th midnight MST

At the end of the contest I will use Random.org to pick the winner out of the entries. I will post the winner in a blog post on Monday March 16th. The winner has 5 days to get back to me. I will also contact the winner via their contact info.

Butterflies and Ladybugs

There are two new additions to the kids line of chalkboards. They are a butterfly and by request a ladybug. They have been listed in the Etsy store and are available for purchase.

Did you know that every order now comes with a couple of pieces of chalk? What fun is something new if you still have to go to the store before you can use it.
